A website that looks good but does not convert is an expensive decoration. Every design decision — where the CTA button sits, how much white space surrounds the headline, whether the testimonials appear above or below the fold, how many steps are in your contact form — affects whether a visitor becomes a customer or bounces.
At WordPress97, our UI/UX Designer does not just make websites pretty. She applies conversion-rate optimisation principles to every layout: strategic placement of trust signals, urgency elements, social proof, and calls to action that guide your visitor from first impression to enquiry. Every design begins with a purpose — and that purpose is your business growth.
We have designed websites for healthcare practices in Chicago, medical spas, e-commerce brands, SaaS companies, and tourism businesses in Hawaii. We design across WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, and Webflow. And we deliver in Figma wireframes first — so you see and approve the design direction before a single line of code is written.
Every web design engagement at WordPress97 covers the following — from initial wireframe to final pixel. What is delivered at each stage depends on your plan level, but the framework is consistent across all projects.
These are not abstract values — they are the practical design decisions that determine whether your website generates enquiries or just looks nice in a portfolio.
Every visual element earns its place by serving a business goal. A beautiful hero image that pushes the CTA below the fold costs you leads. We design with purpose first, aesthetics second — in that order, always.
Over 60% of web traffic in the USA comes from mobile devices. We design for the smallest screen first and scale up — not the other way around. Every section, button, and form is tested on mobile before desktop.
People do not buy from websites they do not trust. We strategically place testimonials, star ratings, client logos, case counts, certifications, and before/after results to build credibility at every scroll depth.
Heavy animations, uncompressed hero images, and excessive fonts all hurt your PageSpeed score — and your Google rankings. We design for beauty and performance together, never sacrificing one for the other.
We never start coding until you have approved the layout. Our Figma wireframes show you the full structure of every page — where the content sits, how the user flows, and what the CTA hierarchy looks like — before a single pixel is placed on a live server.
We design with WCAG contrast ratios, keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and proper alt text. Accessible design is better design — it serves more users, avoids legal risk, and often improves SEO signals at the same time.
WordPress97 is platform-agnostic. We work with whatever system you are already on — or recommend the right platform for your goals if you are starting fresh. Here is what we can do on each.
Our primary platform — deepest expertise
E-commerce design that sells
Animation-rich, code-quality output
Professional Wix design — not DIY
Polished design on a clean platform
Migrate or redesign across platforms
Every design project follows the same structured process. No surprises. No scope creep. No designs sprung on you without context. You are involved at every key decision point.
We start with a focused 30-minute conversation about your business: who your customers are, what makes you different from competitors, what you love (and hate) about your current website, and what a successful outcome looks like. We ask to see 3–5 websites you admire — not to copy them, but to understand your visual preferences. All of this informs the design direction before we create a single wireframe.
We review your top 3–5 competitors' websites looking for patterns, gaps, and opportunities. We analyse your existing brand assets — logo, colours, fonts, photography — and identify what is working, what is inconsistent, and what needs to be created from scratch. This audit shapes the design brief.
Before any live work begins, we create detailed wireframes in Figma for every key page. Wireframes show the layout, content hierarchy, and user flow in greyscale — stripped of colour and imagery so you can focus on structure, not aesthetics. This is where we agree on what goes where. Changes at wireframe stage cost nothing. Changes after build stage cost time and money. Wireframes protect both of us.
With the build complete, we run a full performance pass: WP Rocket configuration, Imagify WebP compression, Cloudflare setup, lazy loading, and database optimisation. We target a PageSpeed Insights score of 80–95 on both mobile and desktop. On-page SEO is applied to every page — titles, meta, schema markup, internal linking.
Every designed page is tested on multiple device sizes: iPhone SE (smallest common mobile), iPhone 14, iPad, and standard desktop. We fix all mobile layout breaks, button sizing issues, font size problems, and image cropping before presenting the design for review. Mobile is not an afterthought — it is the primary canvas.
We present the completed design for your review with a structured feedback form that helps you give specific, actionable feedback rather than general impressions. Revisions are completed within the agreed timeframe (1–3 rounds depending on your plan). We push back constructively if a requested change would hurt conversions or accessibility — that is our job.
The approved design is built on your platform — Elementor, Divi, Shopify, Webflow, or other. After launch, you receive a handover document with all design assets, font licences, and Figma file access (Professional and Enterprise). On Enterprise projects, a 2-hour Figma training session is included so your team can make future updates without touching the developer.

Premier Med Spa Chicago had a dated website that did not reflect the premium positioning of their services. It lacked individual pages for each treatment — meaning Google could not rank them for specific service searches. The booking system was not integrated, requiring clients to call or email. There was no Google Ads conversion tracking and no live chat to capture visitors who were not ready to book. The site was losing potential clients at every stage of the funnel.
WordPress97 designed and built a full site redesign with 15 individual service pages, each targeting a specific treatment keyword. A premium, clean aesthetic was applied across the site — consistent typography, a calming colour palette, and professional imagery generated using AI and Photoshop. The Square booking system was integrated directly into service pages. Tawk.to AI live chat was added to capture visitors in real time. GA4 and Google Ads conversion tracking were configured from scratch. The Google Ads account was fully restructured to match the new service page architecture.
15 service pages live and indexing | Square booking integrated | GA4 + Google Ads tracking active | Live chat capturing leads 24/7

Before/after patient gallery designed and implemented for an aesthetics practice. The gallery section was built to load quickly, display results compellingly, and maintain patient confidentiality — with clear labelling and no identifiable information. Significant increase in enquiry form completions after the gallery went live.
Full SaaS website designed on Webflow for an AI technology company. Scroll-triggered animations, micro-interactions, and a clean conversion-focused layout. The design was built to communicate technical credibility while remaining accessible to non-technical buyers — a balance that defines great SaaS design.
Not necessarily — but having real content (your actual service names, descriptions, team bios, testimonials) always produces a better design than using placeholder text. If you do not have content ready, we can write it for you as an add-on service. Our SEO Content Writer produces service page copy that is both readable and keyword-optimised. We recommend deciding on content before wireframing so the layout suits the actual text length and structure.
A wireframe is a greyscale, stripped-back layout that shows the structure of a page — where the headline goes, where the image sits, where the CTA button is placed — without any colour, fonts, or real imagery. It is a blueprint. A high-fidelity mockup is a fully designed version of that page, with your brand colours, typography, real images, and actual copy applied. We do wireframes first so you can approve the structure before we invest time in the full visual design.
Yes. Most of our redesign projects happen on the client's existing platform — usually WordPress with Elementor or Divi, but also Wix, Squarespace, and Shopify. We do not require you to migrate to a new platform unless there is a strong technical or design reason to do so. If your current platform is genuinely holding back the design or performance, we will tell you honestly — with specific reasons, not just a pitch to rebuild.
If done correctly, a redesign should improve your rankings — not hurt them. The risks that can cause ranking drops are: changing URL structures without proper 301 redirects, removing keyword-rich content, reducing PageSpeed through heavy design elements, and breaking internal link structures. We manage all of these risks as standard practice on every redesign project. We run a pre-launch SEO checklist and monitor GSC for 30 days post-launch.
Yes. On all plans, you receive the final image files used in your design. On Professional plans, you receive access to the Figma file for reference. On Enterprise plans, you receive the full Figma design system with editable components, the brand style guide document, and a Figma training session so your team can make future updates without needing a designer for every small change.
Yes — we have specific experience with this for drrandylindgren.com and similar clients. Before/after galleries require careful design consideration: fast loading (so patient images do not slow the page), clear labelling, no identifiable information displayed by default, and a layout that highlights results compellingly. We handle all of this as part of the standard design process for medical and aesthetics clients.
Minor changes (text edits, image swaps, colour adjustments) can be made by you directly in Elementor, Divi, or your platform's editor — we provide a training guide for this. Larger structural changes (adding new sections, redesigning a page layout, adding new functionality) are handled by our team. After your post-launch support window ends, these changes are billed at our hourly rate or covered under a monthly maintenance retainer.
We do not offer logo creation or full brand identity packages as a standalone service — that is a specialist discipline we leave to dedicated brand agencies. However, we work excellently with existing brand assets and can refine how your brand is applied digitally. If you need a logo first, we recommend getting that completed before engaging us for web design, so the design is built around your final brand identity.
